This classic Queen Anne style home has had many prominent Pensacolians involved in its ownership with recorded deeds dating back to 1872. The three-story frame home has four bedrooms, two and one half baths, and many interesting details. Under its 11-foot ceilings there are five fireplaces, three sets of 9-foot pocket doors, intricate crown molding and trim, heart pine floors, many stained glass transoms, and front and back stircases. It is one of the few homes in the Pensacola area with a full sand-up basement that runs the length and width of the house and has original stained glass windows in the gables. The kitchen features a 9-foot apothecary cabinet from the old Sacred Heart Hospital. (Source: "2000 Historic North Hill Tour of Homes." Pamphlet. North Hill Preservation Association, 2000.)
