PJC is a community college in Pensacola that offers more than 100 majors and areas of concentration, along with the latest high-tech resources and exciting opportunities. Harvard professors held a three-day workshop at the Mary Ekdahl Smart Center for Patient Simulation Training & Research on the Warrington campus. In the 2007/2008 academic year over 34,000 students enrolled of which about 11,000 are seeking ssociate degrees. As with all Florida Community Colleges, PJC's associate in arts degrees guarantee acceptance to a State University System of Florida institution. It works closely together with the University of West Florida and has a joint campus with the University of Florida in Milton. Job placement is 100 percent in most technical areas for PJC students earning certificates, A.S. and A.A.S. degrees.
