The buildng on the left at the foot of the bridge was known as the Fisher-Hamilton Hardware. It is one of the oldest structures in the downtown area, probably dating from after the 1892 fire.

The main section of the county courthouse was built in 1927. The wings on either side were 1950's additions.

The building seen at this location today originally had a third story with tall, arched windows.

The county courthouse is located on the block bordered by Willing and Carolyn Street. The Imogene Theatre can be seen on the left of the photograph.
