The shotgun cottage is the home of Risha and David MacBeth. A shotgun house is one room wide. There are doors connecting each room along one side with an unobstructed view through the house. There are approximately a dozen of this style home remaining in the district. These houses were built for mill workers. There are three in a row in the 200 block of Intendencia Street.
