Pensacola: Historic Pensacola Village: T. T. Wentworth Jr. MuseumThe T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum is a Renaissance Revival style building that was originally constructed as Pensacola's City Hall in 1907. The wide overhanging brackets, the clay tile roof and the classical arched entryway are all typical features of this architectural style. For a nominal admission fee, visitors can see galleries and exhibits featuring the collection of T. T, Wentworth, the largest ever given to the State of Florida by an individual. The building is administered by the West Florida Preservation Board, a direct-support organization of the University of West Florida. (Source: Johnson, Sandra and Virginia Parks.
