Gulf Islands National Seashore: Fort Pickens: DunesFort Pickens, within the National Seasore, is located on the western tip of Santa Rosa Island. There are extensive dune formations along the Gulf of Mexico.
The dune formations are more massive than those in the center of the island. This area is isolated from many of the public beach sites. taken by Denise Daughtry
