Bagdad: Church MuseumThe New Providence Missionary Baptist Church was donated to the Bagdad Village Historical Association in 1989 and moved to its present site on Church Street. It currently houses the BVPA Museum and gift shop. Market Day held every year in October and May is the preservation associations salute to the good old days of Market shopping on a Saturday morning, hunting for bargains and good food.

The museum and shops are open on Market Day. The fish fry is held on the grounds like an old fashioned picnic. taken by Denise Daughtry
