Aragon: 557 Aragon StreetAragon is a new neighborhood adjacent to the Seville Historic District. It is a mixture of Victorian style houses, parks, plazas, and shops. Michael O’Donovan is a fourth-generation Pensacolian whose ancestors lived in the historic district at the Lear-Rocheblave House. He moved to Aragon as one of its first settlers this year. Michael is a creative force in the downtown community through his career as a home builder and as a photographer. The O’Donovan Company specializes in quality residential construction in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach areas for 19 years. As a photographer, O’Donvan produced a pictorial journey of Okaloosa Island, Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach and Fort Pickens. His book “The Island”, a culmination of years of observing the barrier islands, reflects upon the history of the coast and combines elements of poetry in over one hundred enchanting and magical photographs. Many examples of Michael’s works are exhibited throughout the home.
